There are limited options for online cybersecurity degrees in the state of New Mexico. New Mexico Tech has an online graduate certificate in Cybersecurity. The required course is foundational education in information security, and the student will select three electives to customize the certificate. Getting Started Working in Cyber Security in New Mexico

For those that have minimal experience in cybersecurity, there are community colleges that offer certificates and associate degrees in information systems and network security.

At the Ruidoso Campus at Eastern New Mexico University, the NSA-certified institution offers an Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Cybersecurity. The program will give students the skills needed create and implement security programs and be able to scope out threats and recommend any changes to improve the network.
