Online Cyber Security Programs in New Mexico

There are limited options for online cybersecurity degrees in the state of New Mexico. New Mexico Tech has an online graduate certificate in Cybersecurity. The required course is foundational education in information security, and the student will select three electives to customize the certificate. Options include Advanced Cryptography, Security System Administration, and Computer Network Security.

Getting Started Working in Cyber Security in New Mexico

At the Ruidoso Campus at Eastern New Mexico University, the NSA-certified institution offers an Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Cybersecurity. The program will give students the skills needed create and implement security programs and be able to scope out threats and recommend any changes to improve the network.

The curriculum is geared for those looking to become certified as Information Systems Security Professionals, and certifications for CompTIA Security+ and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker will be given upon graduation.
