At Wilmington University, the College of Technology offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Network Security. 40 total courses will be taken throughout the curriculum, which adds up to 120 credit hours. Topics explored include methods to solve cybersecurity issues in the industry, applying ethical principles, and the ability to develop and analyze network security processes. Many of these courses can be taken at either the New Castle campus or online.

This Bachelor's degree will prepare students to earn certification in as a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or a vendor certification through CompTIA. Graduates have gone on to pursue cybersecurity positions such as digital forensic examiners, network administrators, and information security analysts. The core subjects must be passed with a "C-" grade or higher.

Getting Started Working in Cyber Security in Delaware

While options are limited in terms of university choices and the programs offered, there are both undergraduate and graduate opportunities available. No two-year colleges have been designated as CAEs to provide quicker education, but both institutions have online flexibility.
